Temporary Custodian (4-8 Week Assignment)


Location: Tomah, WI
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm
Duration: 4-8 Weeks
Pay: $20.53/hour

Job Summary


We are seeking a dependable Temporary Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility. This short-term position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in keeping work areas clean and presentable.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors throughout office and production areas
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Clean and maintain common areas, break rooms, and restrooms
• Separate cardboard and recyclables and place them in designated containers
• Assist with general housekeeping and facility cleanliness
• Report any safety concerns or unusual conditions to supervisors
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Perform other general cleaning duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform physical work, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Previous custodial, janitorial, warehouse, or general labor experience is helpful but not required

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for most of the shift
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels

This temporary position is expected to last 4-8 weeks and offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a manufacturing environment
