We are partnering with a rapidly growing national food manufacturer seeking a Vice President of Food Safety & Quality to lead enterprise-wide FSQA strategy across USDA-regulated and SQF-certified operations. This is a high-impact executive leadership opportunity with a company experiencing strong growth within the K12 and retail food space.


This individual will play a critical role in driving food safety culture, regulatory compliance, customer confidence, and operational excellence across multiple facilities and co-manufacturing partners nationwide.


What We’re Looking For:
• 10+ years of progressive FSQA leadership experience within food manufacturing
• Strong USDA/FDA regulatory background within ready-to-eat foods, meat, bakery, frozen meals, or portable foods
• Extensive experience leading SQF, BRC, HACCP, and customer audits
• Proven experience managing co-packers and supplier quality programs
• Strong understanding of food safety integration within R&D and commercialization processes
• Executive-level leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Experience handling recalls, crisis management, and continuous improvement initiatives


Key Responsibilities Include:
• Leading corporate food safety and quality strategy across multiple operations
• Overseeing regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and certification programs
• Partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and R&D
• Managing supplier quality and co-manufacturing relationships
• Driving continuous improvement and strengthening food safety culture company-wide
• Leading and mentoring FSQA teams across manufacturing operations
