About the Position

Job Title: Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 1 Profession: Neurodiagnostic Tech Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: Eligible for ABRET registration Certifications: AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required Must-Have: - Must have both inpatient and outpatient EEG experience - Familiarity with Natus and Nihon Kohden systems preferred - Patient population: Pediatric and adult patients Description: The Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 1 performs standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures for patients with moderate supervision as directed according to established standards and practices. Provides technical assistance and training to students. Completes all necessary documentation for departmental records and patient procedures. Supports all functions, goals, and objectives of the department. Assists in the development of any new programs that involve the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit. Knowledge of verbal instructions is essential. Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are necessary. A working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft or Google productivity suite is required. A High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs are preferred. An Associate's Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent is also preferred.
