We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with FRY 14M regulatory reporting expertise to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data models supporting risk, finance, and regulatory reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, cloud-native data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , data warehousing, and data governance practices. Experience supporting Federal Reserve FR Y-14M reporting requirements and banking domain data ecosystems is highly preferred. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $120k - $130k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Design and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models for enterprise data platforms and regulatory reporting systems. Develop dimensional models, including Star Schema , Snowflake Schema , and Data Vault Models , to support reporting and analytics requirements. Collaborate with business, risk, finance, and technology stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into scalable data models. Support FR Y-14M regulatory reporting initiatives by ensuring data accuracy, traceability, consistency, and compliance. Define and maintain enterprise data standards, naming conventions, and data architecture best practices. Implement data lineage, metadata management, and governance frameworks to improve data transparency and regulatory compliance. Work closely with data engineering teams to integrate data from multiple source systems into cloud-based data platforms. Perform data profiling, impact analysis, and data quality assessments. Optimize data structures for performance, scalability, and analytical consumption. Participate in architecture reviews and provide recommendations for data platform enhancements. Ensure adherence to data governance and regulatory standards across the data lifecycle. Requirements: Data Modeling - Conceptual Data Modeling, Logical Data Modeling, Physical Data Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault Modeling, Star Schema Design, Snowflake Schema Design, Normalization & Denormalization Techniques Databases & Warehousing - Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, BigQuery, Hive Preferred, but not required: Experience working within Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets organizations. Hands-on experience with enterprise data modeling tools such as: Erwin Data Modeler ER/Studio PowerDesigner Knowledge of BCBS 239 and enterprise data governance frameworks. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies. Cloud certification in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus. We offer: A highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
