The Director of HVAC Equipment Sales is responsible for driving the performance and growth of assigned equipment product lines through strategic collaboration with internal teams, manufacturers, and customers. This position serves as a key resource for equipment sales initiatives, product management, inventory planning, pricing support, customer acquisition, and market-share growth. Responsibilities of a Director of HVAC Equipment Sales: Lead the growth and performance of assigned HVAC equipment product lines by identifying sales opportunities, supporting customer acquisition efforts, and increasing market share. Collaborate with Marketing, Training, Sales, and Inside Sales teams to develop equipment-focused programs, promote product awareness, and support sales initiatives through effective opportunity management in Salesforce. Build and maintain strong relationships with equipment vendors and manufacturers to support product-line growth, customer engagement, and business objectives. Partner with Pricing and Purchasing teams to support pricing strategies, inventory planning, demand forecasting, and product availability across assigned equipment lines. Develop expertise in OnCallAir and other sales tools to enhance customer engagement, improve sales effectiveness, and support equipment growth initiatives. Participate in equipment business reviews, trade events, and planning meetings while preparing monthly and quarterly sales and inventory projections to support business decisions. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications of a Director of HVAC Equipment Sales: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred; equivalent HVAC industry experience will be considered. Strong experience in HVAC equipment sales, distribution, product management, or business development. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with customers, vendors, manufacturers, and internal business partners. Knowledge of pricing strategy, inventory management, forecasting, and equipment sales processes. Experience utilizing CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, to track opportunities and manage sales activity. Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
