The Gardens of Statesville is seeking a dependable and compassionate team member to support our nutrition services operations and help ensure residents and patients receive high-quality meals and attentive service. In this role, you will contribute to a positive dining experience by assisting with meal preparation, tray assembly, delivery, and cleanup while following established safety and sanitation procedures.

• Assist with preparing and serving meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assemble meal trays accurately and ensure special diet orders are followed.
• Deliver meals to residents or patients in a timely and courteous manner.
• Collect trays and transport dishware and food service items to the proper area.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
• Support inventory organization, stocking, and basic food storage tasks.
• Follow all food safety, infection control, and sanitation standards.
• Communicate professionally with residents, patients, visitors, and team members.
• Assist with additional kitchen or dining room duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service, hospitality, or healthcare experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, courteous, and team-oriented communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights throughout a shift.
• Dependable attendance and flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.
