Your influence will go beyond day-to-day tasks; you'll serve as a mentor and motivator, engaging with individual VISTAs and community partners to provide guidance, encouragement, and solutions. You'll have the chance to shape strategies, overcome challenges, and celebrate successes, all while helping others grow and develop their skills. By working with the entire cohort, you'll amplify the impact of each member, ensuring that the program not only meets its goals but also creates lasting change. Step up, take the lead, and be the catalyst for change. Member Duties The VISTA Leader for the High Point University project will oversee professional development and the sustainability of the work. By engaging with individual VISTA members and their community partners, the Leader will provide guidance and encouragement and ensure progress is being made toward goals. Through interaction with the entire cohort of VISTA members, the Leader will develop the professional skills of the other VISTAs and ensure the whole program is working to alleviate poverty and build the capacity of the local community.
