You develop and deliver cybersecurity services that protect critical infrastructure, enable grid and operational modernization, manage enterprise and operational risk, and support compliance with utility-specific regulatory requirements. This role demands deep expertise across IT and OT environments and the ability to guide utility clients through complex business, technology, reliability, and resilience challenges. You assess current and future cybersecurity capabilities, advise on leading practices, and shape cybersecurity strategies aligned with each utility’s business priorities, regulatory obligations, and operational realities.The Work:As a Cybersecurity Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex information security engagements. You will provide cybersecurity subject matter expertise, and drive project delivery execution as the primary point of contact for the project team – often interfacing with client security stakeholders, client business and/or IT stakeholders, Accenture domain experts and other third-party teams as needed. You will lead others on your projects, from one to many, across our Analyst, Senior Analyst, Consultant and Manager levels. You will be the ultimate problem solver, and will need to lead from the front, ensuring we are partnering with our clients to shape and deliver on committed outcomes.As a team member, you’ll be part of a Utilities industry team focused on applying cybersecurity expertise across the utility value chain—from generation, transmission, and distribution to field operations, customer services, gas delivery, and water operations. You’ll work closely with our Utilities industry leaders to innovate and shape secure, resilient solutions for grid modernization and energy transition.Client Engagement: Develop and sustain strategic relationships with electric, gas, and water utility clients, serving as a trusted advisor who understands their cybersecurity, reliability, regulatory, and operational resilience priorities.Strategic Initiative Leadership: Drive and oversee strategic initiatives, leading teams to deliver high-impact solutions in cybersecurity, advanced AI, risk management and compliance, with a focus on aligning solutions with clients’ risk and long-term strategic objectives.Utilities Insight & Strategy Development: Apply deep knowledge of utility operations, regulatory obligations, threat trends, and technology modernization to shape practical client strategies.Innovative Strategy Formulation: Collaborate with utility clients to create and implement forward-looking strategies that secure grid modernization, advanced metering infrastructure, distributed energy resources, cloud adoption, field operations, and IT/OT convergence while protecting safety, reliability, and affordability.Leadership & Talent Development: Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of strategic thinking and high performance, while ensuring the delivery of impactful cybersecurity solutions.Strategic Communication & Reporting: Develop and present strategic insights, thought leadership, recommendations, and progress reports to senior client stakeholders, effectively communicating the value and impact of cybersecurity on the businessKey Responsibilities:Collaborate with client stakeholders to align security initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.Lead end-to-end cybersecurity strategy and execution across utility enterprise and operational environments, including IT, OT/ICS, cloud, substations, control centers, field systems, advanced metering infrastructure, and customer platforms, while supporting applicable requirements such as NERC CIP, TSA Security Directives, CIRCIA, NIST, and state utility regulations.Advise C-suite and utility business leaders on integrating cybersecurity risk management into operational resilience, capital programs, grid modernization, mergers and acquisitions, emergency preparedness, and energy transition initiatives.Oversee large-scale utility cybersecurity transformation programs focused on secure IT/OT convergence, network segmentation, internal network security monitoring, threat detection modernization, cyber resilience, and identity and access management for critical infrastructure.Drive utility-specific threat modeling, incident response, and recovery readiness for risks such as ransomware, nation-state activity, supply chain compromise, insecure remote access, and attacks affecting grid, pipeline, water, or customer operations.Collaborate with ecosystem partners and technology vendors to design scalable cybersecurity architectures that enable secure grid modernization, automation, cloud adoption, distributed energy resources, and customer digital services without compromising utility reliability or safety.Representing Accenture Security in client engagements, proposals, and leadership forums.Partnering with additional Accenture Industry teams to define and develop new/differentiated go-to-market solutions for our clients.Establishing trusted relationships with our clientsTravel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirementsHere's what you need:Minimum 8 years of work experience working on designing, developing, implementing, and managing solutions across various cybersecurity domains (e.g. industry strategy, security operations, risk management, digital identity, network security, vulnerability management, data protection, cloud security, OT security)Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a team and performing leadership roles like planning, managing and delivery.Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering cybersecurity solutions for electric, gas, or water utilities across enterprise IT and operational technology environmentsExperience with Utility Industry cybersecurity and regulatory frameworks, including NERC CIP, NRC Cybersecurity, TSA Security Directives, CIRCIA, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800-82, ISA/IEC 62443, and DOE C2M2, is highly preferredBachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an, Associate’s Degree with 6 years of work experience)Bonus points if: You have certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CRISC, TOGAF, SABSA Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
