Technical Artist - Optimizing AA UE5 Game for Cloud Streaming (Fully Remote)

Optimize a high-quality, content-rich Unreal Engine 5 game for cloud streaming while preserving a stylized, non-photorealistic art direction. Balance GPU performance, memory usage, and platform constraints with visual quality and readability. Accountabilities: Profile and optimize shaders, materials, textures, LODs, lighting, VFX, and overdraw. Build Unreal Engine editor tools and validation scripts to enforce content budgets. Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering teams on scalability settings and performance targets. Requirements: At least 4 years of professional Technical Artist experience on complex game projects. At least 3 years of hands-on UE4/UE5 production experience, including Lumen, Nanite, and Virtual Shadow Maps. Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders. Remote project-based contract open to candidates in Europe. Collaboration with specialized Unreal engineers, technical artists, UX designers, and QA professionals. Exposure to advanced rendering technologies and challenging cloud-streaming optimization problems.
