Clinical responsibilities encompass the full range of inpatient OB and GYN care, OBED coverage, and high-acuity cases across both inpatient and OR settings, with continuous on-site availability required throughout each designated coverage period. The assignment is structured at 6-8 shifts per month on a consistent basis, and call coverage is a required component of this role. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and an active California state license are required; the credentialing timeframe is 90 days.
