We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Loxahatchee, FL. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and adherence to facility protocols and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current state RRT license in good standing.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience.
• Experience with oxygen cylinders, concentrators, nebulizers, suction machines, CPAP and BiPAP equipment.
• Meditech experience preferred by hiring manager.

Preferred Qualifications

• Stroke education and experience preferred.
• NRP preferred.
• Previous experience in a 12-bed acute care unit or similar environment is preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900–0730.
• Night shift coverage; team varies based on volume.
• Patient ratios typically 1:1 or 2:1.
