Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Loxahatchee, FL where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Minimum Qualifications: Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program. Current state RRT license in good standing. Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required. Minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience. Experience with oxygen cylinders and concentrators, nebulizers, suction machines, CPAP and BiPAP equipment. Meditech experience preferred by the director. (Preferred) Stroke education/experience and NRP are preferred. (Preferred) Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a 12-bed acute care or similar medical/surgical unit. Demonstrated ability to work in team-oriented, fast-paced environments and collaborate with physicians. Assignment Details Shift hours: 1900 - 07:30. Night shift staffing model varies with volume; on-call team involvement may occur. Typical patient ratios range from 1:1 to 2:1. EMR: Meditech.
