Infrastructure Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager with a strong background in network infrastructure and physical hardware deployments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting or coordinating the installation of routers, switches, wireless equipment, and related network infrastructure.

Summary:
This role is best suited for someone who understands what it takes to execute physical network installations in the field. Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on software or application migrations without network hardware deployment experience will not be a strong fit.
While project management experience is important, strong network infrastructure experience is the priority. Candidates who are lighter on formal PM experience but have solid network deployment experience will be considered.

Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate network infrastructure projects involving physical hardware installations and deployments
* Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project
* Coordinate the scheduling and execution of router, switch, wireless, and other network equipment installations
* Manage project scope, schedule, priorities, dependencies, and overall delivery
* Partner with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
* Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and drive them toward resolution
* Track project activities, milestones, and deliverables
* Provide clear project status updates and executive-level reporting
* Organize and manage multiple tasks and requests within a fast-paced environment
* Build strong working relationships across technical and business teams
* Analyze project challenges and develop practical solutions to keep delivery on track

REQUIREMENTS:
* PMP certification, Six Sigma Green Belt, or higher-level certification required
* 5+ years of relevant professional experience
* Strong background in network infrastructure, particularly hardware, switching, routing, and/or wireless environments
* Experience coordinating or supporting physical network equipment installations in the field
* Experience scheduling deployments involving routers, switches, and other network hardware
* Hands-on understanding of network infrastructure projects and the activities required to successfully execute physical installations
* Microsoft Project experience is required
* Working knowledge of core project management principles, including managing scope, schedule, and delivery
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills

Nice to Have/Preferred Skills:
* Experience with Jira.
* Previous formal project management experience with responsibility for project delivery
* Experience with SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and/or Agile
* Experience supporting infrastructure environments involving networks and servers
* Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
* Military background

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
