Senior Business Manager (C-Store)

Senior Business ManagerAcosta is seeking a Senior Business Manager to lead strategic growth for our Convenience (C-Store) channel. This role calls on retail headquarters and works directly with Buyers, Category Managers, and key decision-makers to drive category growth, expand distribution, and deliver best-in-class execution.Responsibilities:Own and deliver volume, market share, and revenue growth across assigned brandsLead category strategies including assortment, pricing, shelving, and promotionsAnalyze sales, trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunitiesOptimize plans to maximize performance and revenueServe as the primary contact with retail headquarters and key decision-makersBuild strong relationships with Buyers and Category ManagersLead presentations, line reviews, and business planning sessionsAlign brand strategies to retailer goalsDeliver strategic insights and recommendationsPartner with internal teams to drive executionTranslate strategy into in-store execution plansUtilize IRI, Nielsen, or similar tools to generate insightsTurn data into actionable selling storiesManage trade spend and promotional fundsEnsure compliance with company and client policiesQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience5–8+ years in CPG, broker, or retail account managementStrong C-Store experience preferredProven HQ selling and category management successStrong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbout Us:Acosta is a part of Acosta Group – a collective of the industry's most trusted retail, marketing and foodservice agencies reimagining the way people connect with brands at every point in their shopping journey.
