PERSONAL INJURY CASE MANAGER

Job Description Weinstein Legal Team is a Personal Injury and Criminal Defense Law Firm located in Fort Lauderdale and with additional offices in West Palm Beach and Orlando. WLT is hiring two experienced, detail-oriented and organized individuals to join our team as Case Managers in their Personal Injury Department. Previous experience working in a law firm as a Case Manager or Paralegal is required. Candidate should be outgoing, work well under pressure, have attention to detail, good sense of urgency allowing for prioritizing of work tasks and excellent phone skills. Familiarity with legal, insurance and medical terminology. Duties include but are not limited to: Handling personal injury cases from start to finish; Opening claims; Preparing letters of representation; Requesting medical records; Communicating with clients regularly; Data entry tasks, including updating client information and recording medical procedures; Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain client privacy and confidentiality at all times; Maintaining client files organized and up to date with all records, correspondence and liens in accordance with established procedures; Reviewing PIP Logs, Medical Records and Bills to ensure accuracy, completeness and confidentiality of all records; Preparing demand packages for attorneys review; Preparing waivers and reductions; Preparing closing statements.
