Specialty Representative/ Senior Specialty Rep- Bone Health - Santa Barabara,CA(Overlay)

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for bone health in the Santa Barbara area (Santa Maria, Ventura, San Luis Obispo territory). The role involves delivering clinical product knowledge to medical professionals, executing sales strategy, managing customer relationships, and driving appropriate product utilization while supporting patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen products and communicate benefits to medical professionals
• Execute branded sales messages, conduct educational programs, and achieve sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop and manage customer accounts, customize interactions, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts
• Analyze territory performance, provide marketing feedback, and develop territory plans with District Manager
• Share best practices with colleagues and demonstrate commitment to patient-centered outcomes throughout the sales cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6 years sales experience
• For Senior role: Bachelor's with 3 years sales/clinical healthcare experience, or Associate's with 6 years, or high school diploma with 8 years
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry sales experience preferred
• Product sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, bone health, or related specialties
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills with focus on sales outcomes
• Knowledge of complex payer environment and reimbursement processes
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration preferred

Compensation: $89,880–$121,602 base annually
