Lead Operations Technician River Rouge, MI, United States | req32268 What you will enjoy doing* You will safely operate a cryogenic air separation plant to ensure reliable and efficient performance You shall perform and facilitate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs that uphold plant safety and equipment integrity In this role you will monitor process performance and adjust operational parameters to maintain reliability, quality, and efficiency You are expected to adhere to company, customer, and regulatory safety work policies while reporting all incidents promptly In addition you should collect and interpret trends in equipment and process condition data to strengthen proactive maintenance decisions Additionally oversee contractors performing routine and non‑routine work to ensure safety compliance and quality execution Furthermore execute lock‑out tag‑out procedures and recommend improvements that enhance process availability and overall reliability What Makes You Great You have experience operating production processes and systems in an industrial environment with a strong commitment to safety Proficiency in mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and industrial instrumentation Familiarity with control systems and HMI platforms, including Wonderware, Rockwell, and Siemens Ability to read and revise engineering drawings, including P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams You have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively Experience safely operating forklifts, cranes, and aerial work platforms in accordance with established procedures Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for documentation, reporting, and data management Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
