Description

• Conduct patient evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient environments, creating tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Partner with nurses, doctors, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide and educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, planning for discharge, and at-home exercises
• Accurate documentation of evaluations and treatment progress according to regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure seamless care for every individual

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program or equivalent qualification

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (such as in geriatrics or neurology) are advantageous but not essential

Skills

• Prior experience is highly preferred
• Ability to treat a diverse range of complex medical and mobility challenges
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential
