PrideStaff is seeking experienced Hospital Billing Specialists in Tracy, CA! The Hospital Billing Specialist role (based in Tracy, CA) is an on-site, full-time position responsible for managing hospital orders, tracking contract agreements, and maintaining accurate billing records. It requires strong Excel skills and basic Microsoft Office proficiency.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Order & Invoice Processing: Process direct bill hospital orders and product replacements, while preparing service invoices and inpatient Orthotic and Prosthetic (O&P) services.
• Reconciliation: Compile and maintain monthly Excel spreadsheets for direct bill hospitals and manage buyout credits against monthly bill-backs.
• Contract Compliance: Ensure bill-backs align with facility contract agreements and verify/update formulary pricing.
• Communication & Training: Submit/maintain purchase orders, communicate issues internally/externally for resolution, and help the Hospital Partnership Director train field staff.
• Quality Assurance: Review incoming paperwork for accuracy and department compliance.

Requirements & Qualifications Include:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on Excel experience; 1-2 years of general medical billing experience is preferred.
• Skills: Strong organization, keen attention to detail, and the ability to type at least 45 words per minute.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $17.00 - $25.00/hour, with annual bases spanning $35,360 to $52,000.
• Bonuses: Potential for monthly production ($0 to $1,000) and profit ($0 to $1,000) bonuses.
• Benefits: Includes 3 to 4 weeks of paid time off, 10 paid holidays, and extensive healthcare/retirement offerings.
