Maintenance Supervisor - Manufacturing

The Maintenance Supervisor will direct & supervise all maintenance workers daily activities throughout the plant. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations while actively working alongside the maintenance team. This position prioritizes floor presence, with the supervisor routinely diagnosing equipment issues, performing repairs, and ensuring timely resolution of maintenance needs. The role combines technical expertise with team leadership to maintain safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Mondays to Friday, day shift

What’s the Job?

• Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel.
• Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance.
• Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions.
• Work with EHS&S to investigate accidents or injuries and prepare reports of findings.
• Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, or disciplinary measures.
• Compile operational or personnel records, such as timecards and production records, inventory data, repair or maintenance statistics, or test results.
• Develop, implement, or evaluate maintenance policies and procedures.
• Counsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies.

What’s Needed? 

• Associates degree
• Technical degree or equivalent technical/trade training
• 3 to 5 years as a Maintenance Supervisor
• Must have competent skills in Microsoft Office software
