2nd shift Production Lead

Title: 1st and 2nd shift Production Lead Location: Omaha, NE Hours: M-TH 5:45 am - 4:00 pm OR 3:45 pm - 2:15am *Fridays as needed Responsibilities Monitoring production schedules, adjusting staffing and resources as needed to ensure on-time delivery. Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards. Identifying and addressing any production‑related issues or bottlenecks promptly. Collaborating with the Production Supervisor to implement process improvements and training programs. Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members. Maintaining accurate records of production output, downtime, and other key metrics. Closing out production work orders and performing other documentation as required. Qualifications High school degree or equivalent preferred. 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment. At least one year of experience in a leadership role, including leading teams, projects, or initiatives. Become certified operator in the work center within 60 days. Ability to work with hay and hay‑based products. Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time. Lift up to 50 pounds (100‑pound requirement for bulk), with some overhead lifting. Ability to bend, twist, stoop, push, pull and walk across uneven surfaces while working.
