Assistant Property Manager

Assistant Property Manager – LIHTC Experience Required Join a respected, established property management company that offers a supportive team environment and excellent opportunities for professional growth and advancement. We're seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to help support the daily operations of a successful affordable housing community. What You'll Do as the Assistant Property Manager: Welcome prospective residents, conduct community tours, and showcase the property's amenities and features. Respond to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries while providing outstanding customer service. Guide applicants through the leasing process and explain lease terms, qualifications, and community policies. Prepare leases, renewals, certifications, and other resident documentation accurately and timely. Assist with resident relations by responding to questions, resolving concerns, and promoting resident satisfaction. Help ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations, Fair Housing requirements, and company policies. Support marketing and leasing initiatives, including outreach, resident events, and online marketing efforts. Maintain accurate records using property management software. Monitor market trends and competitive communities to support occupancy goals. Assist the Property Manager with the day-to-day operations and administrative responsibilities of the community. Assistant Property Manager Qualifications: LIHTC experience preferred Previous experience as an Assistant Property Manager or in a similar apartment management role. Strong leasing background with knowledge of Fair Housing regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to build rapport quickly with residents, prospects, and team members. Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented. Proficient with Microsoft Office, email, and property management software. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends, as needed. Why Join Us?
