Job DescriptionThe Stockroom Worker receives, organizes, stores, tracks, and delivers inventory and product across multiple campus locations. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.Job ResponsibilitiesUnload food and supply shipments from delivery trucksStore perishable and non-perishable goods in refrigerators, freezers, and dry storageConduct routine physical inventory counts and log stock levelsInspect goods for damage, defects, or incorrect temperaturesTransport supplies and product safely to kitchens or other storage areas Dispose of trash, break down cardboard boxes, and clear empty cratesMaintain cleanliness and organization in all work areasPerforms other light maintenance and custodial tasksMaintains excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitationAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.Qualifications• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions • Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.• Ability to perform basic arithmetic • Maintain emotional control under stress• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations• Strong organizational skillsThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
