The Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Finance organization, partnering with Sales, Finance, and Business Unit leaders to drive data-informed decisions and evolve our financial processes This role owns analytics, forecasting models, and insights that leverage modern data tooling and AI to improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and forecast accuracy across the finance organization.The ideal candidate is a change driver with hands-on experience in analytics, automation, and AI - someone who can translate data into business impact and challenge existing processes.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Financial Performance AnalyticsAnalyze bookings, billings, revenue, and margin trends at customer, product, and regional levelsBuild and maintain dashboards and standard reports for Sales, Finance, and executive leadershipConduct sales funnel analysis (coverage, conversion, cycle times, win/loss) to surface actionable insightsSupport quarterly forecast, annual plan, and long-range planning processesForecasting, AI & AutomationEnhance forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniquesIdentify and implement automation opportunities to replace manual reporting with reliable, self-running analyticsPartner with Sales and Finance leadership to improve forecast accuracy and quantify risks and opportunitiesBusiness Partnering & StorytellingTranslate complex analyses into clear narratives and recommendations for non-technical stakeholdersPrepare and present materials for executive reviews, QBRs, and strategic planningAct as a trusted partner to Sales and Finance leadership, influencing decisions with dataRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, Statistics, or related field3–5+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role working with complex business datasetsDemonstrated experience applying analytics and automation to real-world business problems, with measurable impactComfort working with messy data and building models from problem framing through deploymentProven ability to summarize complex analysis into clear, concise business insights for non-technical audiencesStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with AI/ML techniques (e.g., regression, time-series forecasting, classification) applied to sales or finance dataFamiliarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and integrating CRM data into analytics workflowsPrior experience supporting Sales, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Finance organizationsBackground in semiconductor, technology, or B2B environmentsExposure to generative or agentic AI tools for workflow automation or data queryingKey CompetenciesChange driver – Proactively challenges the status quo and drives adoption of new tools and approachesAnalytical rigor – Structures ambiguous problems and validates results with a critical eyeBusiness acumen – Connects sales and finance data to P&L outcomes and strategic prioritiesExecution and ownership – Takes initiative and delivers high-quality work independentlyCollaboration and influence – Builds partnerships and drives alignment with data#LI-PD2 #LI-HybridApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.Cirrus Logic strives to select the best qualified applicant for any opening.
