Travel Nurse Level I RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,869 per week

Job Summary we are seeking experienced critical care registered nurses to join the Med/Surg ICU team. This position requires nurses with a strong critical care background to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to acutely ill adult patients in a fast-paced, Level I trauma center environment. Candidates should be confident in advanced nursing interventions, including IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation, and be capable of working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Salary and Stipend Weekly Gross: $2,869.00 On W2 (Taxable): $720.00 Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2,149.00 Job Duties Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a Med/Surg ICU setting Perform thorough assessments and document patient condition, response to treatment, and any changes in status Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and other treatments per physician orders Provide conscious sedation during procedures as needed Initiate and manage peripheral and central IV access Monitor and interpret vital signs, telemetry, and other critical care indicators Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans Assist with bedside procedures and respond promptly to emergency situations Ensure proper infection control, isolation protocols, and patient safety measures Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions Accurately document all interventions in the patient's electronic medical record Adhere to hospital and unit policies, including HIPAA, medication safety, and code of conduct standards Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience Current New York State RN license (Primary Source Verification required) AHA BLS & ACLS certifications About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes.
