As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.01 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out site-specific and security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and promptly report concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with the protection of sensitive aerospace and defense-related business operations by observing and reporting unusual activity, access concerns, and potential policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
