Position Summary Concentra is hiring an experienced and self‑driven Athletic Trainer for a full‑time onsite position. The role provides healthcare support at the client’s onsite clinic in Riverside, CA, focusing on health promotion, injury prevention, emergency response, and return‑to‑work coordination. Site Schedule Week 1: M: 10‑6 pm, T: 8‑4 pm, W: 1‑9 pm, TH: 10‑6 pm, F: 8‑4 pm Week 2: TU: 10‑6 pm, W: 8‑4 pm, TH: 1‑9 pm, F: 10‑6 pm, Sat: 8‑4 pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide first‑aid treatment for musculoskeletal and non‑musculoskeletal injuries as outlined in Physician Standing Orders, including functional status tests. Identify, evaluate, and refer injured associates to appropriate clinicians. Respond to onsite medical emergencies following standing orders. Assist with Workers’ Compensation case capture and follow‑up. Collaborate with the client’s HR team on return‑to‑work job placement. Track and communicate MSD‑related statistics to stakeholders. Manage pre‑employment functional testing and vision acuity testing. Coordinate injury prevention programs and ergonomic training. Perform comprehensive ergonomic job analyses, including risk factor identification and posture assessment. Create job rotation plans for production areas and monitor compliance. Implement treatment plans during rehabilitation, incorporating therapeutic exercise, modalities, and work conditioning. Use innovative solutions to design and implement interventions. Administer drug and alcohol testing. Promote personal health and wellbeing in the workplace. Analyze data to measure direct and indirect costs of musculoskeletal disorders. Provide monthly and annual reports on rehabilitation utilization, cost savings, and cost avoidance. Complete administrative requirements, including patient files, invoices, budgets, and outcome tools. Create an environment of trust and caring that encourages responsibility for injury risk reduction. Communicate regularly with safety personnel regarding rehabilitation and injury prevention activities. Attend meetings and serve on committees as requested. Author articles for newsletters and the company intranet as requested. Education / Credentials Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Certifications: Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent. Job‑Related Experience At least 1 year of experience in kinesiology or ergonomic assessments.
