Junior Estate Planning Associate

Overview Nelson Mullins , an AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estate Planning Associate to join its growing Private Wealth Services team in Boca Raton, Florida . This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney to work alongside experienced estate planning practitioners advising high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and fiduciaries on sophisticated wealth transfer, estate, tax, and business succession matters. A Day in the Life Recognized as leaders in their fields, the attorneys in our dynamic and growing Boca Raton office provide a wide array of legal services to clients with business interests and investments throughout Florida and beyond. What you'll do: Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and related instruments. Assist with the design and implementation of estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning strategies. Support attorneys in trust and estate administration matters, including probate proceedings and fiduciary compliance. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on federal and state estate, gift, income, and trust taxation issues. Collaborate with clients, financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to help implement comprehensive wealth planning strategies. Participate in client meetings and develop strong client relation Contribute to practice development and business development initiatives. Compensation & Benefits Expected Salary Range: $185,000-$195,000 Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and market factors. Active membership in the Florida Bar. 1-2 years of experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate, tax, or related private client matters. Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities. Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families is a plus. LL.M in Estate Planning or Taxation strongly preferred.
