For more information, please visit MRM is looking for a conceptual Copy Supervisor to join the team. This person is a brand steward and category champion, responsible for having a deep understanding of the brand, its benefits, and driven differentiation. Working with art partners, the Copy Supervisor will communicate and engage with agency departments to supervise the workload for your assigned brand(s) and ensure accuracy of all manuscripts including referencing, annotating and submissions to ensure a smooth MLR process. The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience to think strategically, supply creative ideas and concepts, and execute across a range of mediums. Responsibilities: - Responsible for the daily creative execution of projects across brands/portfolio including writing, adapting from core materials, reviewing projects, incorporating comments, referencing and annotating - Resident expert about the brand, disease state, clinical trials and data, and competitive products - Show relentless devotion to writing craft, and creative excellence on projects big and small - Be an expert storyteller, creating engaging narratives for both short and long-form communications - Deep expertise in HCP-directed copy for high-science pharma brands, as well as engaging patient/consumer content - Display expert knowledge about the brand, disease state, clinical trials and data, and competitive products - Present creative work and ideas with art partner to clients - Attend MLR meetings, noting direction and application of changes to other pieces - Attend appropriate client meetings, market research, workshops and begin to engage in dialogue with supervisor, team, and client about key insights - Support new business efforts in addition to managing day to day brand needs - Generates new creative concepts with art partner and presents to clients - Strive to bring creative solutions and new ideas to the brand - Works collaboratively with all cross-functional team members including Editing, Project Management, Art, and Account Management - Begin supervising direct report(s) by overseeing workload, creative output, providing regular feedback, and aiding in career development - Proactively research new data and studies for your assigned brand’s use and expand your knowledge of industry trends so you can share new ideas with your team - Attend market research and workshops, as appropriate Education and Experience: - 5+ years of pharmaceutical copy supervisory experience within a fast-paced agency setting - Pharmaceutical and/or healthcare copywriting experience is a must - A compelling portfolio included with your application - Previous leadership experience - Solid presentations skills - Proven ability to engage in creative conversations internally and with clients - Motivated to seek/gain additional creative opportunities and/or work on new business pitches - Proactive about expanding knowledge of trends so you can share new ideas with your team - Autonomous, yet you know when and how to raise questions or issues to your manager - Interest and experience integrating AI tools in to workflows. This role will be based in New York City. The salary range for this position is $110,000-$130,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.$110,000-$130,000 *Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
