divh2Quality Inspector 1/h2pAbba Roller is seeking a Quality Inspector 1 who inspects a range of components, parts and/or products for the area assigned as prescribed by all applicable specifications and quality assurance Instructions. Identifies moderately difficult quality issues in design, process or other inefficiencies to meet quality requirements./ppABBA Roller specializes in high-performance urethane rollers and custom elastomer solutions for industrial and commercial applications. We value hands-on problem solving, craftsmanship, and a workplace where expertise and teamwork drive every success./ph3Job Responsibilities:/h3ulliConducts examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials and components at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards/liliInspection of product for visual defects as required, such as unaided eye or some level of magnification/liliInspection of product for dimensional specifications using contact and non-contact measurement equipment/Vision systems/liliReading/understanding part drawing requirements and specifications/liliReading/understanding work order/router requirements and specific work instructions/liliReporting and Documentation of Inspection results/liliReview Documents such as Work Order/Router, Certificates, Product Labels for completeness, accuracy, consistency per GMP/GDP requirements/liliSupports Inspection of incoming materials and parts from suppliers/liliOther responsibilities as assigned/li/ulh3Education:/h3pA Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations/ph3Years Experience:/h3pMinimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment/ph3Skills:/h3ulliAbility to follow established job instructions and procedures with minimal supervision/liliExperience is using standard quality inspection tools such as calibers, etc./liliStrong attention to detail and ability to apply a systematic Quality approach while using existing procedures to solve a range of technical issues/liliBasic understanding measuring and using test equipment as prescribed by job assignment/liliCapable of following instructions and applying processes and procedures to standard routine tasks/liliMust be able to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings, charts, diagrams, and sketches/liliProficient computer skills/li/ulpAt Abba Roller, we recognize how important your career and benefits are to you and your family.
