Position Overview: As a Kitchen Team Member at Wayback, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing food items to our high standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and supporting your fellow team members. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients, assemble dishes, and cook menu items according to Wayback's recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the kitchen area clean and organized, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation and timely service.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks, stocking supplies, and minimizing food waste.
- Customer Focus: Ensure that all food is prepared with care and attention to detail, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling, storage, and kitchen equipment use.
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
