Support Technician I

Assembly TechnicianWe're seeking a detail-oriented, mechanically inclined Assembly Technician to join our aerospace production team. This role will primarily support a dedicated program requiring full-time focus on specialized tasks, including riveting and cutting pad material, while ensuring components meet exact specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.Key Responsibilities:Perform mechanical assembly of aerospace components using hand tools, torque wrenches, and precision instrumentsExecute repetitive production tasks for a specific program, including riveting and precision cutting of pad materialFollow detailed blueprints, work instructions, and schematicsConduct in-process inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specificationsCollaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve issuesMaintain accurate documentation and production recordsSupport continuous improvementQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plusMinimum 2 years of mechanical assembly experience—preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing—preferred but not requiredAbility to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructionsStrong manual dexterity and attention to detailExperience with sheet metal is a plusA&P is a plusAdditional:Drug and Alcohol testing is mandatory and randomPay is dependent on experienceFull Time availablePart Time available
