Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals of Denton County is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding 8-inch tubing, primarily in 2x2 to 4x2 configurations, while following detailed design blueprints to produce high-quality, structurally sound welds. This role requires strong technical welding ability, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and execute work based on engineering drawings.

Schedule - Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm


Pay-$23/hr+OT

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on 8-inch tubing and components ranging from 2x2 to 4x2 dimensions.
• Read, interpret, and follow design blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Fit, align, and weld materials according to specifications and project requirements.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain welding equipment, ensuring proper setup, cleaning, and safety compliance.
• Work with fabrication team members to meet production timelines and maintain efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder (GMAW), preferably in structural or tubing fabrication. No Certification Needed
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Understanding of welding processes, metal characteristics, and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to lift and position materials as required.
• Commitment to producing high-quality, precise welds.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
