Learn about SKF at Summary Responsible for demand forecasting, procurement, inventory management, and supplier performance to ensure product availability and efficient material flow. Partners cross-functionally to drive accuracy, service levels, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Develop and maintain demand forecasts using data and planning systems; improve forecast accuracy Collaborate with sales to understand trends, risks, and future demand changes Place orders with suppliers and manage procurement for stocked and made-to-order products Resolve supplier and scheduling issues proactively to support customer needs Monitor inventory levels and address shortages or excess stock Coordinate material flow across engineering, sales, finance, and warehouse teams Create invoices for direct ship products and support operational processes Track and report supplier performance (on-time delivery, availability, service levels) Participate in process improvements and system implementations Any other duties as assigned Requirements High School Diploma/GED required and Bachelor’s degree preferred; Supply Chain or Operations preferred 3–5+ years experience in supply chain, demand planning, or procurement Strong analytical and forecasting skills with ability to use data for decision making Knowledge of inventory management, material flow, and supplier coordination Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Experience with continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) preferred Desired Skills Excellent skills in verbal and written communications. Experience in Microsoft BI or similar database. High degree of initiative, energy, and ownership. Attention to detail and the discipline to follow through on assigned tasks. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships in a cross-functional environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
