Staff Accountant with Accounts Receiable experience

Overview LHH is seeking an interim Staff Accountant with accounts receivable experience for our client in White Plains/Westchester County. This position is in the office 5 days/week. Responsibilities Cash Application: Apply cash receipts to customer accounts on a daily basis Customer Account Reconciliation: Regularly review the AR aging report to address discrepancies, open deductions, and unpaid invoices Collections: Daily review of past-due invoices and maintain a clean aging report by proactively contacting customers via phone and email Deductions analysis, resolution and claims processing: Review the validity of customer deductions and required chargebacks, apply/clear all claims appropriately, and review/interpret proof of delivery documentation (PODs) Reconciliation of sub-ledger to general ledger Assist with special projects Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required Strong knowledge of SAP and/or equivalent ERP software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment 1–2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Team player with ability to work well independently Pay: $30–$34/hr DOE Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
