Training and Development Specialist

To enhance the development of Student Service Advisors, the full-time Training and Development Specialist will coordinate training sessions, provide individualized coaching, and support the implementation of technological advancements in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Facilitate training for newly-hired and existing Student Service Advisors on advising strategies and university policies Lead the Advising with Purpose initiative, creating evaluation rubrics for advisor/student interactions Develop and maintain training materials and assess the effectiveness of training methodologies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's degree preferred Two or more years of experience as an academic advisor strongly preferred High technology proficiency, including familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft products Experience in adult education and the academic environment Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English preferred
