Requirements / Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Requires completion of high school or equivalent and experience in school office or related field working directly with school staff, parents and students. Associate of Arts degree preferred. Two (2) or more years of progressively responsible positions in a structured administrative office setting; preferably in a confidential position. The SpEd Technician I works closely with the Special Education Administrative Team on routine and non-routine tasks that assist in meeting the demands of personnel and division responsibilities. This position provides technical and database management support as it relates to special education student records such as SEIS, OASIS, and CALPADS. Duties include providing daily and ongoing assistance to case managers and service providers. Review the job description for a full list of duties and responsibilities.
