Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting K-12 students across multiple educational sites near Baton Rouge, LA. This part-time (29 hours/week) position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, with a start on July 27, 2026, and the potential for hybrid flexibility. Attend a couple of professional development days at the outset, then collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to empower students and their families.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education (DOE) School Psychology certification required
• Strong grasp of psychoeducational assessments and compliance with IDEA regulations
• Demonstrated experience in interpreting data and composing thorough evaluation reports
• Solid understanding of special education eligibility and multidisciplinary procedures
• Excellent communication skills for presenting assessment findings to families and school teams
• Effective organization and time-management abilities to ensure timely evaluations and reporting
• Proven collaboration with diagnosticians, social workers, SLPs, and administrators
• Bilingual skills are a plus!
• Completion of district background check/fingerprinting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret educational assessments for students in grades K-12 across multiple campuses
• Prepare clear, comprehensive written reports within outlined timelines
• Offer consultation and referral services to students and families, connecting them with valuable community resources
• Work closely with parents, educators, and school leaders regarding assessment results, intervention strategies, and support planning
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure continuity and accountability
• Participate in in-service training and help interpret assessment processes for school personnel and families
• Support planning individualized programs based on assessment outcomes in collaboration with your multidisciplinary team
