Speech-Language Pathologist in Norwalk, CT

In this supportive role, you'll collaborate with dedicated educational professionals and benefit from provided supervision for SLPA candidates. You'll have the chance to work one-on-one or in small groups, designing and implementing therapy plans that address each student's individual strengths and communication needs. This position is open due to summer coverage needs, offering a unique opportunity to enrich the student experience during the extended school year.


Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure or certificate in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP or SLPA)
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Credentialed as SLP-CCC or SLPA as applicable
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Motivated by helping students succeed academically and personally

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services for students ages 6-22
• Develop and implement individualized education plans
• Monitor and record progress, collaborating closely with staff and families
• Maintain accurate documentation as required by school guidelines
