We strive to deliver results that are cost-effective, timely, innovative, respectful of internal and external stakeholders, and consistent with the Company's Purpose, Vision, and Values.The Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist will support the Department by operating as a liaison between HCSG and claims organizations (WC Carriers and/or TPAs), ensuring timely and appropriate action and managing related processes. The Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist will join and serve as a subject matter expert for an evolving, collaborative team that supports professional growth and development.Responsibilities:Assists with review and internal/external reporting determination of workplace incidentsEnsures claim handling that drives appropriate loss and expense outcomes for HCSGMaintains tracking system for incident follow-upEnsures compliance with HCSG's incident reporting policies and proceduresCoordinates and manages HCSG's medical case management vendor; designates involvement at the time of reportingProvides WC oversight for non-litigated cases within assigned territoryFacilitates WC claim closuresManages injured worker outreach programEnsures Field Operations are following HCSG's Return-to-Work Policy and ProceduresManages shared Risk Team email accountPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:Technical proficiency (MS Office and Gmail) requiredDependable, proactive, attentive to detail, and able to work independently with minimal supervisionExceptional communication skills and professional demeanor, Spanish speaking a plusHealthcare Services Group, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
