Workday Financials Sr Associate

Senior Associates play an integral client-facing project or work‑stream leadership role. They spend their time focusing heavily on client interaction, project management, intensive data‑analysis, insight identification, and creating compelling client‑ready presentations. Additionally, they develop Analysts and Coachees. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience 3-5 years of experience analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues and interfacing with business users 1-2 years of experience owning project workstreams with little to no supervision Ability to solve complex problems creatively with strong critical thinking Strong analytical skills coupled with a functional or technical acumen and hands‑on expertise with cloud‑based enterprise solutions Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results and issues to internal and client teams Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed to work with client or other internal project teams Preferred Qualifications Workday Financials certifications (FDM, Record‑to‑Report, Accounting Center, etc.) CPA or equivalent accounting certification Experience with multi‑entity, higher ed, healthcare, or complex operating models Preferred prior consulting experience of 3-5+ years Functional experience with data conversion, reporting, and integrations Key Competencies Functional expertise in FDM and accounting lifecycle Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to translate complex accounting needs into system design Executive communication and facilitation skills Attention to detail with focus on data integrity and accuracy Leadership and team development Additional Information The estimated base salary range for this job is $120,000 - $145,000. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range is $130,000 - $166,750. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
