Electrical Systems & Field Operations Specialist

Apply hands-on electrical and field operations expertise to help train next-generation AI systems using accurate, practical technical input. This remote contract role centers on interpreting complex electrical documentation, evaluating real-world troubleshooting scenarios, and translating technical details into clear insights. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret, and explain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control-system documentation for AI training work.
• Review, annotate, and validate equipment layouts, inspection reports, and operational procedures.
• Evaluate electrical troubleshooting scenarios and document analytical approaches and solutions using industry best practices.
• Assess technical manuals and field-operation guides for accuracy and clarity, including for non-expert audiences.
• Provide detailed feedback on documentation quality related to electrical systems design and field operations.
• Collaborate asynchronously to share technical context, practical scenarios, and insights drawn from real-world challenges.
• Help refine workflows and processes by identifying information gaps and communicating technical nuances.

• Expertise in electrical systems, control systems, automation, instrumentation, or field operations.
• Experience interpreting and producing technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational documentation.
• Relevant experience as an Electrical Engineer, Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, Electrician, Maintenance Supervisor, or in a comparable role is highly valued.
• Strong electrical systems design, electrical troubleshooting, schematic interpretation, and technical documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Careful attention to detail when reviewing visually dense technical documents.
• Analytical thinking, process-optimization awareness, and comfort with remote, asynchronous collaboration.
• Experience with technical documentation review, process optimization, or field data analysis is a plus.

• No prior AI experience is required. Relevant domain expertise is the primary requirement.

• $40 to $50 per hour.
