• Evaluate results for their accuracy, rectify discrepancies, and ensure optimal performance through regular maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Support specimen gathering and prepare samples for comprehensive testing as necessary.
• Keep meticulous records of all procedures, mentor new staff members, and assist in maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe, organized workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Required Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) needs to be obtained within one year of hire.
• The ideal candidate will maintain their certification throughout the entire period of employment.
