This is your chance to take the reins behind the bar and on the floor, delivering exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Craft and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and flair Lead and support front-of-house staff, providing guidance and setting the standard for service excellence Take food and beverage orders, deliver meals, and ensure a seamless dining experience for guests Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and service area throughout each shift Handle cash, credit, and POS transactions accurately and efficiently Monitor guest alcohol consumption and uphold responsible beverage service (RBS) standards Assist with opening and closing duties, inventory checks, and bar prep Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction Requirements: 2+ years of bartending and/or serving experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting Prior leadership or lead bartender experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine Valid California Food Handler Card and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification, or ability to obtain Excellent communication, multitasking, and team leadership skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Must be 21 years of age or older About Us: The Porch Restaurant & Bar is a beloved Sacramento staple known for its welcoming atmosphere, great food, and craft beverages that keep guests coming back time and again.
