Customer Logistics Supervisor - PM Shift

The Customer Logistics Supervisor reports to the Manager and is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and overseeing daily logistics operations. The individual will coach, develop, and train staff, recommend improvements to facilities, equipment, machinery, and processes, and ensure staff performance meets standards to achieve business objectives. Essential Functions Supervise, coordinate, and oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations. Plan and review, with the Logistics Manager, all logistics processes to meet company standards and customer service specifications. Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of the workers for optimal shift/team logistics. Accountable for site Key Performance Indication (KPI). Work in collaboration with customers in all aspects of operations. Meet regularly with team members collectively and individually to monitor progress, track performance, coach, counsel, and recognize team and individual successes. Cultivate team spirit with a Diversity and Inclusion initiative and promote cooperation by seeking opportunities to improve internal processes. Conduct performance evaluations of team members and recommend performance awards and/or merit increases when appropriate. Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary processes. Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations with all employees. Implement health & safety and security initiatives, practices, and behaviors and ensure adherence to company rules and policies. Provide appropriate orientation for employees and Lead Hands, giving them information, technology, and any materials necessary to perform their jobs. Qualifications H.S. diploma/GED required. One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred. 0 to 1 year direct supervisory/leadership experience required. Compensation Information Compensation may be influenced by factors including relevant experience, education, location, market data, internal equity, and salary ranges. The position may also be eligible for annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on level and/or type.
