Description

• Lead, motivate, and develop production employees to achieve operational goals.
• Drive performance related to quality, productivity, safety, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and execute plans to meet or exceed departmental objectives.
• Monitor key performance indicators and utilize visual management tools to track results.
• Identify production bottlenecks, equipment issues, quality concerns, and safety risks, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Partner closely with quality teams to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to production personnel, leads, and setup technicians.
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation align with production requirements.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Prioritize departmental activities to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
• Communicate production goals, expectations, and improvement opportunities clearly to team members and leadership.

Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of production supervision experience within a manufacturing setting or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing production personnel.
• Effective problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing-related software systems.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
