Responsibilities include inpatient consultations, emergency department call coverage, assessment and treatment of urologic conditions, and collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure the highest quality patient outcomes.Responsibilities:Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions.Provide inpatient consultations and on-call coverage as assigned.Respond to patient care needs in a timely manner.Document patient encounters accurately and completely within the electronic medical record.Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and ancillary teams.Participate in an equitable call schedule.Maintain compliance with quality, safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.Support continuity of care through communication with referring providers and care teams.Qualifications:Education:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)Training:Completion of an accredited Urology Residency ProgramLicensure & Certifications:Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Louisiana medical licenseBoard Certified or Board Eligible in UrologyBasic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), if required by practice locationWork Shift:Variable Hours (United States of America)LCMC Health is a community.
