Day Porter

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This position requires a proactive individual who can perform various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors.
Duties- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct industrial cleaning of common areas, restrooms, and break rooms to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in both commercial and residential settings as required.
- Assist with custodial duties such as trash removal, window washing, and surface sanitization.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any necessary repairs or issues to management.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are clean and presentable throughout the day.
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
