Bilingual Administrative / Safety Coordinator

Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Job Summary

Provides administrative support while coordinating workplace safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Serves as a bilingual (English/Spanish) liaison between management and employees, assisting with communication, training, documentation, and daily office operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain the site's Safety Management Plan (SMP).
• Assist with OSHA compliance, safety inspections, audits, and documentation.
• Translate safety policies, procedures, and communications between English and Spanish.
• Maintain employee training records, incident reports, and OSHA logs.
• Assist with accident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Monitor fleet safety records and coordinate driver safety programs.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, schedule meetings, and support daily office operations.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence using Microsoft Office.
• Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, vendors, and customers in both English and Spanish.
• Promote a positive safety culture and ensure adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of administrative, safety, or office coordination experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or building materials industries.
• Experience with incident reporting, safety training, and recordkeeping.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
