You will source and evaluate investments, guide strategic initiatives, and connect insights from the AI ecosystem to executive decision-making. It is both analytical and highly collaborative, requiring strong judgment, technical fluency, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.Responsibilities:Source and evaluate venture investments across Seed, Series A, and Series B, owning deal flow through diligence and executionDrive alignment and execution of AI/ML initiatives across the company, including Generative AI and physical AIMaintain relationships with portfolio companies and ensure alignment with Micron’s investment strategyDevelop executive-level briefings and recommendations for leadership, the Board, and the Investment CommitteeMentor team members and partner cross-functionally with business and technology stakeholdersMinimum Qualifications:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or related field and MBA from a Tier 1 universityExperience in venture capital, startups, or senior operating roles, including deal sourcing and investment processesStrong financial acumen with technical depth in at least one relevant AI or semiconductor-related domainExperience influencing senior stakeholders and delivering clear, data-backed recommendationsAbility to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with competing prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley venture ecosystemBackground in data center hardware systems and/or data center softwareExperience at a Tier 1 consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG)Domain expertise in areas such as physical AI, autonomous vehicles, manufacturing, or data center systems/softwareInternational education or work experience and exposure to global business environmentsThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$196,000.00 - $344,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
